The DV8 Offroad Jeep Wrangler JK Rear Shock & Link Skid Plates provide bolt-on protection for the factory rear shock and link mounts. Their single-piece design reinforces the thin OE brackets and prevents damage from rocks and obstacles on the trail. These skids install easily, sit at the lowest point of the rear axle to help the Jeep slide over terrain, and work with most aftermarket shocks & lift kits. Piggyback shocks with fixed lower reservoirs are not compatible. Finished in a micro-texture black powder coat for durability.
Installation Instructions- Places a skid plate on the lowest part of the rear axles for better off-roading capabilities. Won't get caught on rocks, and will slide right off.
- Shock and link mount skids are a single piece, unlike some competitors who tie the two mounts together for strength.
- Will work with most aftermarket shocks (Piggyback reservoirs that are locked on the bottom will not fit)
