Our G-trac bar is a direct bolt on replacement for your S197 Mustang and provides greatly improved front chassis bracing.
The stock front lower chassis has a cross brace but it is mounted to an unsupported flange. Our G-trac brace ties the rear mounts of the front lower control arms together to reduce flex at the mounts and make the front chassis stiffer.
Our G-trac brace is attached as close to the control arm bushings as possible so the load path is more direct and you get much more effective stiffening so the suspension geometry doesn't change during high cornering/chassis loads. Manufactured from super strong chrome moly alloy steel tube. Over twice as strong as any mild steel offering. Includes G-trac bar and installation hardware.
NOTE:
Designed to fit factory K-member, may not work on aftermarket K-members. When using the G-Trac Brace with the Control arm Relocation kit, two 14mm - 2.0 x 100mm long bolts are required for installation.
